This series is the best. Puts everything into perspective. Loveit! A must read for anyone who loves suspense, romance and murder.
The Medlow family will pull you in and never let you go. The entire series is a great read with hours. Of reading enjoyment, I could not read just one book in series, I had to have them all.
Excellent reading - author is a real griot. Characters are well developed and to the point one wants to know what happens to them next. I have read all of the published volumns in this series. Latrivia Nelson's stories are ready for a television show or a mega movie.

THE EDITING WAS MUCH BETTER.THIS IS A MUST HAVE IN THE MEDLOV CRIME FAMILY SAGA.IT JUST REMINDS U OF A SCENE FROM THE GODFATHER WHEN MICHAEL CORLONE REFLECTS ON PASS LIFE THE SAME AS DIMTRY IS DOING. YES THIS IS A MUST HAVE! IF U HAVE GOTTEN THIS ONE PLEASE U MUST GET NUMBER 4 TO COMPLETE THE SERIES.
Told ya'll Ivan was a psychopath and so is his girl, but she recognizes it. Like the way Ms Nelson brings Dorian and Davdy into the story. In the prologue kids were mention, but what happen to my girl Renee? And Dmitrys' moving slow--isn't he in his 50's? He's not that old, but I guess that lifestyle can wear you down. Would have love to have been a fly on the wall during that board meeting. Alright, I'm ready for the next one.
I am really not in to mob stories, but this series took me by surprise. I am now reading Saving Anya. Ms. Nelson books on Demitry, Ivan, Royal and Anatoly gets better and better with every read. I recently got introduced to Gabriel. I am absolutely stunned with Anya I invite everyone to read this series I promise you will Love It. These book will make you sad,cry, angry, heart broken and love unconditionally.
I hated for this book to end. Ms. Nelson just keep getting better and better with each book she writes. And the video on her info site, gives us a look at what she envision young Dmitry and Ivan should look like. May I just say, Hot Damn, those brothers are so Delicious.
The romance is Amazing, the action is Amazing, the plot is Brilliant.
